-- A 64-year-old Dorchester woman stands accused of stabbing a 74-year-old man to death in Dorchester this weekend. Verna Sewell, a Jamaican-born Dorchester resident was arrested on charges that she killed her boyfriend, Julius Scott, during an argument. Scott had called 911 to report his injuries before he died. Police say that Sewell confessed to stabbing Scott in retaliation for a blow that he delivered with a brick. [Herald]
-- The Alleged Criminal Formerly Known as Clark Rockefeller might once again be known as Clark Rockefeller if his lawyers get their way. They claim that calling the accused man by his given name would be prejudicial to the jury since he has been charged with giving police a false name. [Herald]
