Vernacular, a blog maintained by Emerson College graduate students in the department of Writing, Literature, and Publishing (from which this Bostonist will graduate next week), is hosting a literary gala this Friday at Grub Street. Enjoy free drinks, food, and great conversation with Emerson College graduate students and faculty, as well as local writers and publishing professionals. There will also be live music from Gentlemen Hall, which seems to be a dance band, so you may get to enjoy the sight that is literary types trying to boogie.
