Boston Blotter: Arrest Made in Harvard Shooting

--Police in Cambridge continue to unravel Monday's shooting of a 21-year old man at Harvard University's Kirkland House residence hall. Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr said the killing occured after an alleged drug deal gone bad. Jabrai Jordan Copney, 20, turned himself in and will be arraigned today in Cambridge District Court. --An angry group of people joined police in a chase of the alleged assailant in the shooting of a 29-year-old mother of three in Mattapan. [Boston Herald]

--The State Police confiscated 543 pounds of marijuana and almost $200,000 in cash after stopping an alleged drug deal in Danvers. Five suspects, three from Masachusetts, were arrested and held with a $250,000 bail. They face charges of trafficking Class D marijuana over 200 pounds and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Peabody police and ICE agents participated in the drug bust. [Boston Globe]

--A former Patriots player was arrested and charged with murder in connection with a 1994 shooting. [WHDH]

--A Red Sox "fan" was arrested for allegedly biting a police officer during Tuesday's game at Fenway Park. [Boston Herald]


All charges alleged until proven under law.
