Boston Blotter: Cambridge Man Shot Dead

-- A 33-year-old Cambridge man was shot dead early this morning in the driveway of the Fresh Pond Apartments in North Cambridge. Jason Ellcock was shot multiple times, and police are seeking six suspects, black males who were seen fleeing the crime scene in hooded sweatshirts. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- in a sign of our economic times, a depraved and nattily dressed man driving a BMW allegedly stuck up a bank in Dedham and was arrested by detail cops as he fled the scene. [Herald]

-- Boston cops arrested a second suspect in connection with a May 3 double stabbing in Roxbury that left one man dead. Marco Rodriguez, a 20-year-old, was arrested at his Lawrence home and charged with assault and battery for his role in the incident, which allegedly involved stabbing a man with a broken bottle. Rafael Lara had previously been arrested and charged with murder. [UHub, BPDNews]
