The Brattle continues its Classic Gangsters series with the John Huston classic Key Largo (1948), which couldn't come with a more hard-boiled cast: Edward G. Robinson, Humhrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Lionel Barrymore. Screening with the Raoul Walsh's The Roaring Twenties (1939), which pairs Bogart and James Cagney as bootleggers on the make. Laughs

Can eight comedians all go one night without making a joke about cancer? Probably not, but they might as well raise funds to cure the disease while they're doing it.
