It might be the highlight of the HFA's Kathryn Bigelow retrospective, if you don't count Point Break. Tonight, the director presents her newest feature, The Hurt Locker (2008), a film about the Iraq war that portrays a bomb disposal unit as it defuses seven explosive devices. Bostonist is a big fan of Loretta Lynn, the country singer who famously warned "Don't come home a'drinkin' with lovin' on your mind." So, we're intrigued about tonight's Butcher Holler Tribute to Loretta Lynn, featuring the Eilen Jewell Band and Miller and Brewer. Don't screw it up. Lizard Lounge, 1667 Mass. Theater
