Bostonist reader Monica Wing writes to tell us about her art car (pictured), which was apparently stolen in Brighton between June 16 and 18. We'll let her take it from here:
The car, though quite worthless and with a very distinctive paint job, was stolen from Brighton June 16-18th. (I admittedly had left it easy to steal.) Police suggest that is was likely stolen for a single trip and abandoned once the thief got to his destination, and/or sobered up. This means the car is likely out there, parked in some neighborhood, and would be easy enough to spot if anyone knew to look out for it - but no-one does. I believe that my chances of getting this car back increase greatly with the number of people who have seen a photo of it. I would appreciate it if anyone seeing this car would please report it to the police as a stolen car.
It's a sweet looking paint job, and we hope that somebody can help Monica find her car.
