Scavenger Hunts

Banditos Misteriosos hosts its second annual scavenger hunt, and it might not be too late to find out where the secret starting location will be. Even if you can't make the hunt, be sure to stay tuned to Bostonist's Flickr stream, where we'll be seeing photos from the festivities. Christopher Columbus Park, various locations, 12:15 p.m.

Fair Trade

Cultural Survival Bazaars are a New England-wide phenomenon that allows you to buy good directly from the artisans who make them in poorer countries. The Cultural Survival group works with craftspeople in dozens of countries and offers everything from micro-credit to forest conservation projects. Tons of stuff to buy along with Ecudorian music and Tuvan throat singing. Boston Common, 10 a.m. Free.

Movies

Point Break (1991) might be the best surfing/skydiving/heist/homoerotic/buddy movie ever made. Part of the HFA's Kathryn Bigelow restrospective and screening with the gloomy submarine picture K-19: The Widowmaker (2002).
