-- After a "brief confrontation" involving a parking space in Porter Square, a a 21-year-old Cambridge resident was shot in the buttocks. The suspect fled in a dark-colored SUV and is at large. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- A Boston man was charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon after threatening EMS officals and cops on Tuesday with an uncapped hypodermic needle. A woman discovered the suspect lying on the floor of his apartment with an overflowing tub and several uncapped needles. He awoke and grabbed a needle as EMS was assisting him. [Herald]
