ISF World Skateboarding Championships: Men's Park Results and Photos

After the ladies skated, the men took over the skate park course, amping things up a little. The women did well, but the men added a few more tricks and twists to the competition, using new parts of the course and pushing for even more flips and turns.

Ryan Sheckler mania was in full effect at the Garden today. If you don't know Ryan Sheckler, you're apparently not a young teen girl. Sheckler not only has a professional skateboarding career, but also an MTV reality show star. His "Life of Ryan" follows—get this!—his life, which is the life of a reality TV star who skateboards. The concept is nearly as mind-blowing as Sheckler's moves. Still, we felt that several other competitors more than held their own in the competition, making it a close race to the finish.

Perhaps proving that celebrity conquers all, Sheckler won the men's world park championship today with a nice score, over 90 points. Following up the superstar were Canadian newbie Ryan Decenzo and Chaz Ortiz. See the rest of the top six in park after the jump. The vert finals were tonight; we'll report on those results as soon as we have them.
