Does Sarah Palin really have any significant impact on Boston? Fortunately, no. Governor Community Organizer/Private citizen Palin just quit as Alaska's leader after a rambling sharply focused public statement.
Bostonist is now really concerned about Palin's clothes. Wait for it. The point isn't to criticize her style or appearance. Really. However, there is speculation on the Internets that her clothing might indicate an affinity for a certain NFL team called the New England Patriots. She appeared at some picnics in Alaska recently wearing a red sweatshirt with the word "Patriot" on it above what looks like the current logo of the three-time champs. The shirt appears to say "Once a Patriot Always a" and then shows the current logo.
Sarah Palin just may be a fan of the Pats. Or, she could just be trying to reinforce her status as a self-proclaimed patriotic American. But, we're curious about how Roger Goodell or Bob Kraft feel about what appears to be an unlicensed use of the logo of one of the NFL's most popular franchises. The shirt in question isn't available for purchase at the NEP's online ProShop. Palin just wore the sweatshirt so this is probably an issue for whoever made it.
Is copyright infingement, you know, patriotic?
