According to the Boston Globe, MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo is reporting the Red Sox traded Justin Masterson and minor-league pitchers Nick Hagadone, a 2007 first-round pick, and Bryan Price for Cleveland's Victor Martinez. NESN says the Sox are "close to acquiring" Martinez.
Update: CBS Sports now says that the Victor Martinez trade is a done deal. Boston.com's front page says the Sox swapped Masterson, Hagadone, and cash.
Still no word on where Adam LaRoche, who now has no logical place on the Sox roster, might end up.
Update:The Sox also traded Adam LaRoche to Atlanta for Casey Kotchman, according to NESN.
