Prefuse 73 has long held the pivotal position in between hip hop and intelligent dance music; he's the innovator of glitch hop. Sound entralling? Watch the kids worship him tonight at the ICA. Part of the Wavelengths music series. Institute of Contemporary Art, South Boston, 7:30 p.m. $25.

Kickball

Boston is the home of the World Adult Kickball Association (yes, it is real), which makes the Hub the epicenter of kickball activity in the U.S. Join WAKA and its members for a pre-season pep rally today, and join a team if you are so inclined. The new season starts on August 14. Murphy's Law, 837 Summer St., South Boston, 6:30 p.m. Free.

Comebacks

Arthur Lee might be dead, but that hasn't stopped his band Love from touring. Johnny Echols, Love's other guitarist, fronts the band these days, so there's at least a dollop of authenticity to the proceedings. Middle East Downstairs, 472 Mass. Ave., Cambridge, 8 p.m. $12.
