Just a week ago, Glen "Big Baby" Davis was sounding like your stereotypical professional athlete. He publically declared he'd go to any team willing to pay him to play. Fortunately, a week later, Davis and his apparent affinity for greenbacks will keep green on his back after he re-signed with the Boston Celtics for two years and $6.3 million. As Davis waited to sign a contract all summer, he said "I feel like I’ve grown up so much this whole summer - just being a professional and just being an adult." That's good because he grew up on the court in 2009 as he averaged 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in the playoffs as he replaced the injured Kevin Garnett. Danny Ainge basically said he wanted Davis back the whole time. "We like Glen more than anybody else likes Glen out there, and that’s ultimately what it boils down to."he said. The C's also announced the signing of Shelden Williams.
