Movies
The Brattle's Ang Lee retrospective begins today with Hulk, the director's, um, idiosyncratic retelling of the Bruce Banner legend. It's a movie so weird that Marvel Comics pretends like it was never made. It's about half an hour too long, but aren't all of Lee's films? Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Cambridge. More information.
Catholic Stuff
The 2009 Fisherman's Feast begins today in the North End. The annual celebration of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca involves processing through the streets, tourists, and a "Cheese Stage" upon which a "Cheese Tower" will be built. Various locations, North End, 7 p.m., through Sunday. More information.
Booze
Have you had a caipirinha yet this summer? Admittedly, the weather isn't quite right for Leblon's Cachaça tasting tonight, but the price is. Free caipirinhas for everybody. Downtown Wine and Spirits, 225 Elm St., Somerville, 6 p.m. Free.
Dead People
There are more than 100,000 dead people in the Forest Hill Cemetery, and each one of them was once alive. That's the premise of the Library of Stories Flashlight Tour, during which a guide will narrate the lives of some of the cemetery's more famous or outlandish residents. Main Gate, Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain, 7 p.m., $10/$8.
Old Time Baseball
The Old Time Baseball Game, which should not be confused with New England Vintage Base Ball, features teams of local college and semipro ballplayers wearing throwback uniforms and under the management of throwback managers, in this case Johnny Pesky and Lennie Merullo. St. Peter's Field, North Cambridge, 7 p.m. More information.
