The Breeders will be playing the Paradise in support of their "Fate to Fatal" EP
OK, so the Pixies have regrouped a couple of times and will pass through Boston again on November 27th in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their album "Doolittle" (tickets for their Wang Center show go on sale on September 12th) - BUT the Breeders will be playing the Paradise this Monday, August 17th, in support of their new release, the "Fate to Fatal" EP (sure you can get the MP3s online but they will have vinyl at the show). We can't wait to see them and wonder where former Bostonian Kim Deal will go hang out. We also wonder if current Bostonian and former bandmate Tanya Donelly will show up at the gig.
Whispertown 2000 will be the opener at what is sure to be a great show.
Who: The Breeders

When: Monday, August 17th, doors at 7:00pm

[Updated: Thanks 'crushed'! We now recall how psyched we were when Kelley Deal joined the band!]

Democratic Primary Debate at WGBH: Transcript Time!

Actually Kelley wasn't a founding member of The Breeders and didn't play on Pod. Kelley joined the band after the initial line-up dispersed (when Tanya went off and formed Belly). Tsk tsk, don't skimp on your research, Bostonist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Breeders
Thanks crushed - after we posted we recalled that Kelley joined later but thanks for the prompt, we have updated the post.
