-- The Boston Police Department's School Police Unit confiscated a pellet gun from a 17-year old student at Seaport Campus-for the School for Children on Thursday. The student was questioned by school personnel about the gun, which he then displayed under his shirt and in his waistband. After being disarmed, he threatened staff and students and said “I’ll be back and shoot the school up.” The student was charged with possession of a firearm on school property, threats to commit a crime (murder) and disturbing a school assembly. -- A 66-year old woman from Allston was allegedly raped last Thursday in an alley near Gardner Street and Harvard Avenue. Yesterday morning, the suspect was arrested after a brief scuffle. A Brighton District Court judge ordered the suspect be held on $250,000 cash bail. He pled not guilty to sexual assault, assault and battery on a person over 60, and resisting arrest, and was ordered to surrender his passport, but his immigration status was not clear. [Globe]

-- A group of Arlington High School female field hockey players were flashed by an unidentified man on Thursday, Arlington police said. He was described as a six-foot, bald white male, with a large forehead. [WCVB]

-- A 23-year-old Hopedale man stabbed his step-father the two fought over beer on Thursday, according to Hopedale Police. The suspect is being held on $10,000 bail and is charged with armed assault with intent to murder, attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery. His public defender, Richard Estis, said he allegedly has a history of schizophrenia. [MetroWest Daily News]
