-- Somerville soccer fields must be in short supply these days. A 33-year-old man was arrested after allegedly practicing his soccer kick on the back of a teenage boy who refused to give up the soccer field at the Capuano School on Glen Street. [Somerville Journal]

-- Boston police took down an alleged illegal massage operation in Allston and arrested two women in their mid-fifties on multiple dirty charges including the ominous charge of "allowing premises to be used for immoral purposes." [BPDNews]

-- A Lynn woman allegedly intercepted a beatdown intended for her boyfriend last week in Cambridge. Cambridge police are looking for four suspects in connection with the crime. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- Former Candlepins for Cash creep Robert Gamere pleaded guilty to child pornography charges. He traded pornographic videos of children using the internet alias "GreatGamere." [Globe]

-- Harvard kids were allegedly caught stealing Cambridge street signs. No street names were specified, but we hope they didn't rock down to Electric Avenue in Somerville. [Cambridge Chronicle]
