Boston Blotter: Stabby Melee in Allston

-- The beatdown of a hapless man who was standing outside of the Kells nightclub on Brighton Avenue turned into a 12-to-15 person melee that spilled into the Allston streets early Sunday morning. Boston cops learned that something was amiss when reports came of a man walking down Brighton Ave spilling blood from his chest. He was a stab victim. When police arrived on the scene, the fight was still happening, and police eventually broke it up, arresting two. When one cop was disarming one of the suspects, the crowd descended upon him, sending him to the hospital along with many of the injured fighters. [Allston-Brighton TAB]

-- A man in Cambridge was allegedly relieved of his iPhone by a gun-toting thug who fired a couple of rounds into the air. Cambridge police eventually caught up with the suspected robber, who allegedly threw the victim's iPhone onto a roof. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- A man allegedly stabbed his coworker with box cutter in a Cambridge warehouse last week before going back to work and using the alleged weapon for its intended purpose. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- A pair of Somerville sisters in their 30s might be serial burglars, according to police, who say they have recovered nearly $25,000 in stolen goods from the women. [Somerville Journal]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
