The Pixies come to Boston on November 27th
It's often been said that the Velvet Underground never sold many records but that every single one of their fans went out and started a band of their own. Similarly, the Pixies had a huge influence on their audience and subsequently, acts that were embraced by the mainstream, from Nirvana to Radiohead.

The Pixies are marking the 20th anniversary of the release of their album, Doolittle, with a tour this Fall and will be making a stop in their former hometown of Boston on November 27th. If there was ever a band to be thankful for, it's the Pixies, so in order to shake off some of that turkey and stuffing you'll have to get a ticket to their show at the Wang Center via CitiCenter.org starting at 10am tomorrow.

We wonder if the Pixies will play Doolittle from beginning to end in album order like Sonic Youth did last year with Daydream Nation, or will they play all their songs in alphabetical order as we once saw them do in 1990. Whatever they do, it will be a treat to see this influential band bring their music to the town that they called home.
