Boston Blotter: Jake Cleared of Assault Charge, Mistrial in Murder Case

Both Wayne Abron, 42, and his then-girlfriend, social worker Edwinna Wynn, claimed that the assault charge was trumped up—a cover story to hide what Abron characterized as a case of police brutality. -- The murder trial of Antwan Carter and Daniel Pinckney, Jr. ended today in mistrial, as a deadlocked jury could not reach a verdict.
