If you're like us, the one month of summer we had totally got away from you, and you're now rather surprised to be crunching leaves and (ubiquitous) acorns on the ground. Though fall came upon us quickly, the next few weekends may be prime foliage time. Bookmark this New England Foliage Map (powered by—what else?—Google) to see where the colors are best and brightest. Assuming you're a real foliage fanatic, you could plan a trip to a different state every weekend for the rest of the fall. Doesn't that sound fun?
