Boston Blotter: Six Years for Six House Killer

Blotter-Body-Outline.jpg -- 40-year-old Bernard Piscopo was sentenced to six years in jail today after being convicted in the brutal 2007 slaying of Adam Rich. Piscopo, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, swore that he did not kill Rich during a ballroom brawl in South Boston's Six House bar. The court decided differently. Rich died from seven stab wounds, including an 8-inch-deep stab through the heart. [Herald]

-- Three Dorchester men and a 16-year-old Dorchester boy were arraigned yesterday in the brutal Mother's Day beating of Joe Yoon Kang, a 28 year-old banker who allegedly refused to pay for their dinner. Kang was hospitalized for a month and suffered permanent brain damage. [Herald]

-- Antonio Marcos Ferreira was arraigned yesterday in the murder of Sheila Dos Santos, the 26-year-old stripper who was found hacked to death last week outside of her Everett home. Ferreira was a spurned lover of Dos Santos who allegedly threatened her life. Authorities say they found traces of Dos Santos's blood on his sneaker. [Herald]
