Pranks
Given the nature of the performers, we're hesitant even to list the Yes Men's appearance tonight in our Happenings post. The pranksters, who are notorious for posing as members of the WTO and the heads of corporations, will appear in connection with their new movie, The Yes Men Fix the World. Coolidge Corner Theatre, 290 Harvard St., Brookline, 7 p.m. More information.
Wine
Our old friends at the Second Glass wine magazine offer yet another Crash Course Wine Seminar, but with a twist. Tonight's presentation, called "Wine Ghost Stories," will feature "tales about haunted vineyards, and funny legends behind labels." Downtown Wine and Spirits, 225 Elm St., 7 p.m. $10.
Symphonies
NEC offers a symphony program conducted by John Page that includes work by Sibelius, Walton, and Dvorák. It won't be as challenging as NEC concerts tend to be, but it should make for lovely listening on a rainy night. Jordan Hall, New England Conservatory, 30 Gainsborough St., 8 p.m. Free. More information.
