Boston Blotter: Woman Attacked with Rope in Havard Square, Human-on-Human Biting in Alewife

-- A 26-year old female Harvard employee was attacked yesterday night in Harvard Square by a man who tried to strangle her with a rope. The quick-thinking victim was able to crouch, push her male assailant away, and escape with little harm having come to her. No arrests have been made. [Herald]

-- A woman was allegedly attacked and bitten by a coworker while at work near Alewife. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- Another poster boy for the principle of committing one crime at a time was arrested by Boston police this morning after attempting to steal a kiss in the parking lot of the South Bay Center. Police say he had a number of outstanding warrants. [BPDNews]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
