Boston Blotter: Headbutt and Stabbing in High School; NSTAR Threats; Mother Convicted in Child's Death

-- A criminal assault and battery charge will be filed against an Arlington Catholic High School football player after he allegedly headbutted a player from Abington High School in a game in September. There is no arraignment date set yet. The victim's lawyer said the Arlington Catholic player "took his helmet off and headbutted him." The suspect's lawyer, Ronald A. Martignetti, said Arlington Catholic suspended his client for two games. [Herald]

-- A Peabody woman was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the baby-shaking death of her 9-month-old daughter. Sentencing is scheduled for Monday. [WCVB]

-- An NSTAR supervisor allegedly threatened a Somerville resident in Cambridge on October 13. The victim asked an NSTAR worker how long they would be working on Hancock Street. The NSTAR supervisor allegedly responded by saying, "I'll beat the s— out of you.” [Somerville Journal]

-- Five students were stabbed on Thursday after leaving Lynn Classical High School. One victim went to Mass. General Hospital with multiple stab wounds, and other went to North Shore Medical Center/Union Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
