DailyCandy Loses Its Boston Flavor

DailyCandy, a fashion/food/beauty/etc. website about shit to buy and stuff to do, had divisions in several cities—until recently. The site will be closing down its Boston division (along with Miami, Dallas, DC, Atlanta, Seattle and Philadelphia) in 2010. The site featured some interesting content, but considering its "What to do this weekend" guide for Boston offers online shopping options and the Boston page highlights video on how to change a tire—a necessity for a walking city?—we seem to be seeing the beginning of the end. They also change a flat on a Lamborghini, demonstrating that there will be only the best for DailyCandy staff. Except, you know, in Boston. Only New York, London, LA, Chicago and San Francisco will keep personalized DailyCandy editions. [Gawker]
