Boston Blotter: Suspects Named in Two Homicide Cases

-- Boston cops have arrested a suspect in the August 25 killing of Erica Field in Dorchester. Amos "Ace" Don, a 23-year-old Boston man who was being held in custody in Maine on unrelated charges, now stands accused of killing Field and for shooting a second victim, who survived the assault. -- Boston cops named a suspect in a March triple homicide that took the lives of Shacora Gaines, Chantal Palmer and Anthony Peoples. The three victims had been found in a white Nissan in Dorchester, where they had allegedly been shot and left for dead by Keron Pierre, a 24-year-old who used to live in Mattapan. Authorities say that Pierre shot the three victims following a fight at a party and that they believe that he currently lives in Trinidad. [BPDNews; Globe]

-- A Quincy woman was indicted on charges that she stabbed her 9-year-old daughter to death before turning a knife on herself, thereby killing her 8-month-old fetus. She faces charges of murder and manslaughter. [Herald]

-- A Somerville jake with 24 years of service was placed on administrative leave after a DUI arrest and charges of cocaine possession. [Somerville Journal
