Coakley, Brown: Duh and Duh-er

Well, the polls predicted it, and now the results are in: Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley (D) and State Senator Scott Brown (R) will face off in the Senate special election on January 19, joining already-declared Libertarian candidate Joe Kennedy. Perhaps more surprising than the outcome were the margins: on the donkey side, Coakley brought in 47% of the vote to Michael Capuano's 28%, while Brown (more predictably) routed Jack E. Robinson with 89% of elephant votes.

I think it should read "Martha Coakley, Scott Brown, and Joe Kennedy will face off in the Senate special election"

you're right! added the libertarian angle.

Totally predictable results. Martha probably wins unless there's a scandal or a huge gaff. Her speech last night was very dull. She made Kerry look exciting.
