Santa Claus is coming to the MSPCA Angell! As part of the Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center's annual Homeless for the Holidays gift sale, Santa will be posing with your furry family members on Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Photos are $20 each and make great gifts, plus all proceeds go to benefit pets in need of a home.
Even if your pet is photo shy, don't worry: a variety of pet supply vendors and local bakeries will be on hand in the Adoption Center lobby with treats for both you and your pets. Pick up a new leash, bowl, toy, cat tree, organic dog treats or even a custom cookie cutter to complement your holiday baking. Munch on tarts, cakes, cookies, pies and more from some of Boston's best bakeries, including Canto 6, South End Buttery, Bread and Chocolate, Kickass Cupcakes, Petsi Pies, Yum Bunnies, Starlight Creatives, Lakota Bakeries, Panera Bread, and Vicki Lees.
The MSPCA's Homeless for the Holidays event is the perfect way to give back to those pets who don't have a loving home this holiday season, while benefiting your very own furry friends at the same time. Purchase gifts for Fido or Muffin (or their owners!), or have your pooch pose for a photo with Santa. You and your pet will benefit, and so will the thousands of animals who each year find themselves in the MSPCA's care.
Santa may only be in town Saturday and Sunday, but other items from the sale will also be available for purchase starting today, December 9th and 10th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Whether you're already a pet owner or thinking of adoption, the Homeless for the Holidays sale is the perfect time to visit the MSPCA Adoption Center, located at 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
