Boston Blotter: Executives Throw Down, Bank Robber on a Cold Cambridge Roof

-- A massive brawl allegedly erupted when a group called New England Executives rented Mantra Restaurant for a private party last month. The fracas, which was described as "alcohol fueled," allegedly turned executives into street fighting men when two bigwigs and their entourages faced off in the wee hours of the morning. Five were arrested on various charges including disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer. [UHub]

-- Cambridge cops ran down an alleged bank robber who led them on a tour of Central Square's roofs. The man, who allegedly held up the Sovereign Bank on Mass. Ave., made it all the way to Norfolk Street before surrendering to police. No sightings of the Batman were reported. [Herald]

-- The man who allegedly shot a Milton firefighter in a road rage incident over the weekend turned himself in and was held on $500,000 bail today. It turns out, he's rich. [Herald]

-- A pit bull that had been used as a bait dog to train other pit bulls for fighting was found left for dead in Hyde Park on Sunday. The animal, who suffered numerous injuries as well as early symptoms of hypothermia, was delivered to Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment Services, where she earned the nickname "Turtle." [Herald]
