Bostonian Dances Away With A Win

Krumper and Roxbury native Russell Ferguson captured the coveted title of America's Favorite Dancer last night, winning season six of So You Think You Can Dance. Russell, who studied dance at Boston City Lights and Boston Arts Academy High School, thanked his fellow dancers, his family, and God. We're so pleased to be able to claim a reality show contestant who isn't a total tool. Bostonist interviewed Russell back in October, and we'd like to think our shameless pimping contributed to his win. Well done, Bostonist readers; and congratulations, Russell!
