The popular "Three Wolf Moon" t-shirt that can be seen everywhere from Diesel to the Boston Comic Convention has been named the official t-shirt of New Hampshire, according to Neatorama. The Granite State, known for its libertarian politics, rocky expanses, and many wolves, may have moved one step closer to becoming a living parody of itself.
The shirt is made by The Mountain in Keene, New Hampshire, and it became famous a few years ago when pranksters from Fark and other message boards started posted hilarious Amazon reviews of the shirt and its purported powers. One review claimed that the shirt "Fits my girthy frame, has wolves on it, attracts women [but] cannot see wolves with arms crossed."
Three Wolf Moon has inspired a number of imitators, including Three Worf Moon and Three Rowlf Moon, but there is no beating the original in the eyes of Steve Boucher of New Hampshire's Division of Economic Development, who said, "Every CEO should be wearing this shirt."
