Scott Brown, Dianne Wilkerson, Sal DiMasi—need we go on? But corrupt politicians aren't even the half of it: crime, in fact, makes up nearly half of our depressing news. Asylum.com's "Misery Index" puts Boston at the top (bottom?) of a list of depressing local news. Apparently 40% of our crappy news comes from crime, 20% government, and 18% sports, the last of which might be on the way back up. What's your favorite depressing local story of late? [Asylum]
