Boston Blotter: Drug Busts in Hyde Park and Cambridge

-- Boston cops served search warrants in Hyde Park and Dorchester yesterday, netting heroin, cocaine, a few guns, and three suspects. One of those arrested had the tough luck of being spotted on the street after the search warrant had been served. [BPDNews]

-- In Cambridge, cops allegedly smelled freshly burnt marijuana during a traffic stop on Western Ave. When they searched the car, police said, they found several bags of weed. [Cambridge Chronicle]

-- The FBI is looking for a "trench coat bandit" who has held up banks on the South Shore. [Herald]

-- Somerville cops reported a man who slashed himself in an apparent suicide. [Somerville Journal]

All charges alleged until proven under law.
