Someone's grandmother refused to watch crime happen in front of her at a 7-Eleven in Malden. The video there is must see. A man stole some money from the register but not before the unidentified woman started swinging a hand-held scanner to fend him off. The suspect fled and was quickly arrested. Malden Police Captain Tom Swanson said of the woman: "She is a regular customer who talks to the clerk. I think she took it a little personally." All charges alleged until proven under law.
