Sports Redux: Subtle, Much?

Nate Robinson is all about fresh starts and do overs and we're all about whatever it will take for the Celtics to get the job done. That said, we have to admit that there's something very Robinson-appropriate in the level of drama that comes with the new guy's Celtics debut tonight. At the Garden. Against the Knicks. Perhaps without the ailing Paul Pierce.

At least it's going to make for a heck of a basketball game.

Down in Florida, Red Sox position players have reported for duty and are going through the paces of their routine physicals this morning. During Monday's sessions, it was all about checking in and setting aside the bitter aftertaste of the 2009 season. Adrian Beltre, who went out of his way to win the Mr. Congeniality award on Monday, is gearing up for what he hopes is hitting success at Fenway. David Ortiz is just hoping that he starts off the year hitting. We imagine that Mike Lowell is just hoping for something good. And as for everyone's favorite trash-talking second baseman, it's going to be another season of Dustin being Dustin, which is a whole lot better than how things were with that other guy.
