Photo of the Day, March 2, 2010: Flooded Fiske

We're loving this moody, wide-angle capture by AaronBBrown. The expansiveness of the cloudy grey sky, the distant line of trees, and the big sheet of icy water all contribute to a feeling of openness. According to his caption info, Brown executed the shot at Fiske Pond in Natick on a Canon Digital Rebel Xti with a Sigma 10-20 lens, set at 16mm; f/16 aperture, ISO 100, for 115s at 3:45PM.
