We haven't featured a lot of macro photography in our photos of the day, but this one by material guy couldn't be passed up. The lighting and exposure are on the mark, bringing out a smooth spectrum of greens on the plant's limbs. We also like how the background has a little texture and is not a flat black. Shot on a Nikon D40 with a Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 micro lens.
