Boston Blotter: Arrest in Hynes Wedding Scam Case, Lowell Man Charged in Double Murder

-- The suspect in an alleged scam to defraud wedding-industry vendors was arrested in Pittsburgh and charged with one count of wire fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft. Tucker allegedly ran a fraudulent bridal show at the Hynes Convention Center in March. Other scams reportedly took place in Miami, Las Vegas, Baltimore, Dallas, and Columbus. US Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz in Boston, the FBI, and the Boston Police Department investigated the crime. The suspect faces up to 22 years in prison. [Globe]

-- Edwin Nunez, 31, of Lowell is charged with first-degree murder charges in the stabbing deaths of two women on Friday night. Nunez was arrested and arraigned at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington over the killings that happened as part of a drug dispute. [Globe]

-- Police are investigating two apparent poisonings in Malden. Police responded to the scene for a domestic dispute. Both victims are at Massachusetts General Hospital. [Herald]

-- A female passenger on the MBTA's Orange line was allegedly assaulted when a man rubbed up against her with his pants undone. [WCVB]
