Boston Blotter: Mail Carrier Allegedly Sold Oxycontin, T Driver Stabbed

Blotter-Body-Outline.jpg -- A 30-year old mail man from Gloucester allegedly sold Oxycontin on his route. Gloucester Police, DEA agents and U.S. Postal Service investigators collaborated on four total arrests. The mail man was charged with possession of a class A substance. [WBZ]

-- An MBTA bus driver was attacked by two men and stabbed around midnight on Monday night in Cambridge. The driver was in Bennett Alley about to go into service on Route 73. The driver had a non-life-threatening injury. No suspects yet. [Globe]

-- Boston Police arrested five suspects for three unrelated acts of vandalism over the weekend. One suspect allegedly kicked in two bus windows. He reportedly told police he did it for no reason. Three suspects were arrested for slashing tires in Brighton. The suspects claimed to be homeless, and asked for money. A 19-year old Boston man was charged with vandalism by graffiti after defacing property with a Sharpie marker. [BPDNews.com]
