Rep. Barney Frank made one of his fairly regular visits to “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on Tuesday. He seemed subdued to Bostonist, but still had his moments.
He fortunately didn't really know who Kim Kardashian is, and said he doesn't care for reality television because he deals with reality as chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. "Reality hasn’t been all that great lately,” Frank said.
Leno discussed Iraq with Frank, who said he wanted all the soldiers brought home. He's happy the "combat mission" is over. It's more complicated, though. "If there’s no combat, then I don’t know what they’re doing there," he said.
Frank supported legalizing marijuana on Leno's show.
