Just a week after questioning Senator Scott Brown's conservative values, Sarah Palin lost out to Massachusetts' other Republican, Mitt Romney, in a 2012 presidential poll. Yes, the GOP is polling for 2012 with no declared candidates.
According to Public Policy Polling, 20% of Alaskans want Romney for president. Palin tied Mike Huckabee at 17%
Ironically, the Globe referred to "rugged pickup truck conservatism" to describe Alaska's politics in their story about the poll. Brown's campaign symbol was his truck. Romney has a truck now, too.
