Bostonist was officially launched in early 2005 and is authored by a growing group of hard-working bloggers. Don't ask us, ask yourself. It is a question that must be answered deep inside you. Bostonist is always looking for contributors and welcomes emails at any time. Send a note to bostonist at gmail dot com with a sample of your writing and a little something about yourself. Know that we can only promise exposure. If you're looking for riches, the Mass Lottery is offering better odds.

Bostonist is always interested in hearing from our readers. If there is a news story you think we should report on, an item that needs attention in the Boston ethos, or a disaster about to unfold, please drop us a line. It could be a couple of things. Maybe you're just on the scene and we don't know you yet. Perhaps we're busy working a day job and trying to get the bloggage done in our free time. Ironsides. Thanks for noticing. Our logo contains the USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat. The other buildings are the Prudential Center, John Hancock building, and the Custom House tower.
