Happy Halloween!

Tonight, vampires ditch their fangs for dentures of the undead whist acting like witches, and ghosts disguise themselves as bats disguised as rabbits. Be not surprised if even the Citgo sign in Kenmore Square shines just a teensy but more orange than usual this night....

Authors of "I Brake for Meltdowns" speak at 7pm in Porter Square

If your childcare responsibilities sometimes make you feel like you are going to hell in a hand basket, go hear Michelle Nicholasen and Barbara O'Neal discuss their new book, "I Brake for Meltdowns: How to Handle the Most Exasperating Behavior of Your 2- to 5-year-old" at 7pm tonight at Porter Square Books. It should provide some insight on the most difficult (and perhaps exorcism-worthy) situations caretakers of young children may experience. Three cryptozoologic creatures released in the Cambridge/Somerville area. Document for a fancy prize.

Unnamed sources spotted a sasquatch-like creature yesterday at the Arnold Arboretum. Rumors circulating among the critters at the Boston Aquarium have lead some to believe that the Atlantic harbor seals may attempt escape concealed as elephant seals. Keep your......
