Fenway High School students were recently treated to an unusual speaking duo: a murderer and the mother of the girl he murdered. Amy Biehl was killed 15 years ago in South Africa as she helped register voters toward the end of apartheid. Ntobeko Peni, one of a mob of men convicted of Amy's murder, served five years in prison and was granted amnesty by South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission. In an amazing turn of events, Peni now works for Amy Biehl Foundation Trust, making a positive difference in the world. The trust's programs include after school care, CPR and first aid training, HIV/AIDS education, arts and music instruction, and sporting events. more ›
