--The BPD reported a sexual assault on Charter Street at about 8:00 am yesterday morning, in the thick of the snowstorm. Here is the perp's description: "The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 6’0” in height, short hair, medium build, 25 - 30 years in age, wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and black pants." The Transportation Department and Mayor Tom Menino want you to know that, if you get a parking ticket, you can pay for your ticket if you donate a toy "of equal or greater value than the fine on the ticket." It's Miller Time, but you might not be getting to the bar as quickly as you'd like. We heard from a tipper at 4:45 pm that trains were dumping all their passengers off at Park Street and that it was mighty hot and mighty crowded. In a Boston Community Live Journal post that appeared at noon, littlestarletta noted that a communications center at High Street lost the ability to communicate with all trains and buses.......
