-- An important piece of evidence has emerged in the case of a mutilated body found on a Milton street Monday. A note was found on the body and it showed what appeared to be the name "Delonte Tisdale" and a reference to "A lunch." There is also a scribbled signature and the date "10/19/2010."
Religion aside, we thought Easter was about eggs and ham (not green, preferably). And we thought turkeys were native to Brookline. But while enjoying the fine weather yesterday afternoon, we encountered a lone turkey wandering the streets of Arlington. Distracted by the presence of a police officer prowling around the house, we almost missed seeing the bird. We were busy dreaming up what terrible crime might possibly have been committed within (assault with a deadly chocolate bunny?), but then the officer directed our attention to the big old bird in the yard. There's no trace of the turkey on the Arlington crime report, so we presume he didn't manage to steal any leftover Easter goodies.

Eating sushi in the suburbs can be a harrowing prospect. People tend not to want to try new sushi places because of the potentially disastrous results. For some reason, eating sushi downtown feels safer: perhaps the big awnings and plethora of other restaurants we know and trust makes the risk seem smaller.
historygradguy was around Arlington station when they opened the new Arlington street entrance and came up with this shot. The perspective and tones are good, and the "light at the end of the tunnel" composition is solid.
Continuing the tradition started last Friday, the Green Line was again slow taking folks to work. A disabled train at Arlington caused 25-30 minute delays for commuters this morning, and the issue does not appear to have been resolved. Our inbound Green Line commute wasn't too bad, but many of our coworkers are trickling in late. Did anyone else have problems on the Green Line this morning?
As the case against Arlington Senator Jim Marzilli continues to develop, more women are stepping forward with accusations. Although no additional charges have been filed, he already has plenty after Tuesday's debacle, as many as 5 women are saying they were also the victims of Marzilli's inappropriate comments and advances.
Democratic State Senator Jim Marzilli of Arlington was arrested in Lowell last night for allegedly groping a woman on park bench. Senator Marzilli is no stranger to controversy, he was absolved of inappropriately touching a woman after driving her home from a political fund-raiser on April 9th.
-- A 6-month-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert yesterday was recovered unharmed by authorities. Police found the child, Lucas Whalen, with his mother, 24-year-old Danielle Boyle, when a cab driver drove the pair to Arlington police after Boyle could not pay a taxi fare. Boyle has not been charged in connection with the alleged kidnapping, but the boy's father, Michael Whalen, 42, has been charged with parental kidnapping, receiving stolen property, and threatening to commit a crime.
