In the midst of our fleeting lives, one sometimes feels called to take a stand. A meaningless but symbolic stand. Two towns in Vermont, Brattleboro and Marlboro, about two hours northwest of Boston, passed resolutions calling for President George W. Bush and Vice-President Dick Cheney to be arrested if they ever enter the towns' jurisdiction in southern Vermont.
