Brad Pitt honored the Hub with his presence on Tuesday to film scenes for , the baseball movie based on a book by the same name. Pitt was in and around Fenway Park playing Billy Beane, the Oakland A’s GM, who brought a more statistical approach to picking players to his job. Kevin Youkilis and former Sox player Scott Hatteberg are prominently mentioned in the book. The Globe reported last week that Pitt would be filming a scene with an actor playing Sox owner John Henry.
